*counts_plot* - Inspection of Results

The results can be displayed graphically:

  xs> counts_plot
  observed spectrum [root_obs.tab] rp90 # input is rp90_prd.tab

A plot will appear on the screen, showing data points with error bars, and the predicted model as a histogram when one is present. Best fit model parameters are printed at the bottom. The task will leave the user in graphics mode so that various plotting options can be applied.

?  lists the graphics options.

q  exits the task.

Options include:

p  to undisplay/display the predicted counts,

l  to remove labels,

d and s  for plots of `observed-predicted' and `(observed-predicted)/error' respectively, and

=  for hard copy.

These options are specific to counts_plot. Fig. 7.1a. shows an example plot.
